Jamiyah Singapore will be distributing iftar bento boxes to the homes of our beneficiaries everyday throughout Ramadan. This is an alternative strategy adopted by Jamiyah since we are unable to host daily breaking of fast/iftar sessions at our Headquarters as we have done every year before the Covid-19 pandemic hit.

 

 

 

 

In the lead-up to Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Jamiyah Singapore will be distributing festive gift packs comprising of poultry and other food items to the less fortunate in 8 constituencies of Singapore.

 

 

2,000 needy families of all races and religions will receive a ‘Meat-for-Eid’ gift pack each for Hari Raya, containing 2kg of meat, 2 whole chickens, 1kg of Basmati rice, 1 packet of instant ketupat, 1 packet of Rendang paste and 1 packet of Serunding.

 

 

The purpose of the Meat-for-Eid packages is so that the beneficiaries will be able to prepare a festive meal and enjoy it with their loved ones for the Hari Raya celebrations.
