On Saturday, 28 August 2021, 360 low-income families from Bukit Batok SMC received 3kg of Qurban
meat and grocery vouchers each. The Qurban meat distribution is part of Jamiyah Singapore’s Annual Qurban meat distribution, while the grocery vouchers from Bukit Batok GROs are part of the monthly distribution as part of Bukit Batok Food & Grocery Voucher Scheme. The distribution exercise was made possible with the partnership between Jamiyah Singapore and the 12 Residents’ Networks (RN) in Bukit Batok SMC.

Mr Murali Pillai, Member of Parliament (MP) for Bukit Batok SMC and Adviser to Bukit Batok GROs,
officiated the Qurban meat distribution exercise at the RN at Blk 188 Bukit Batok West Avenue 6. The distribution exercise was done concurrently at 12 RNs in Bukit Batok.
